“It brings out the best in us,” Buss stated. “When teams identify us as the team to beat and they gear up to go at us head-to-head that makes us work harder. So, bring it on.”

In latest weeks, the Nets added Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge to their core consisting of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden.

The Los Angeles Lakers made an analogous transfer after they signed Andre Drummond following his buyout from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
